W. Chris Lochner for Allegheny County

No Politics. Just Good Governance.

No Politics. Just Good Governance. No Politics. Just Good Governance. No Politics. Just Good Governance.

Spending & Taxation

In 2025, Allegheny County hiked your property taxes by an historic 36% to pay for nearly $3.1 billion in spending. The increase in spending includes pet projects that serve the unpopular campaign promises of County Executive Sara Innamorato and the historic expansion of Sara Innamorato’s personal staff.

As your county council member, Chris will ensure your voice is finally heard and protect our families and seniors on fixed incomes.

Chris’ Agenda:

  • Put an end to the out-of-control spending that led to the 36% tax hike.
  • Hold the line on all new spending and taxes.
  • Tighten fiscal controls to get rid of fraud, waste and abuse.
  • Increase transparency on all spending to ensure that our money is being spent on our families’ priorities.
  • Force county government to work within its existing budget like our families and seniors do everyday

With over 40 years’ experience in municipal government management, Chris is uniquely qualified and committed to working with his fellow council members, along with the county executive, county manager, and department directors to find better efficiencies in county operations.

Chris will fight for us!
